Policy for Making Policies

1) Policies will be designed, drafted, and voted into law at the committee level.

2) These policies will then be taken to the partnership via Artspace if they concretely affect the liquid or material assets of the property.

3) A list of any new policies created at a committee meeting will be posted on the bulletin board within 2 days after the meeting takes place. Underneath the description of each new policy will be six blank spaces. These blank spaces represent six 30-second blocks of time (total 3 minutes) for discussion of the policy at the next all co-op meeting. Interested persons from the cooperative may sign their name in these spaces for a chance to speak on the said policy at the next all co-op meeting.

4) A vote will be taken to endorse the policy at the next all co-op meeting. If the policy is not passed, it will be sent back to the committee to be reworked.
